Why I teach at EPAA...

"I teach here because I believe school can be a place where students feel known, supported, challenged, and connected. At EPAA, I have been fortunate to serve in many roles—as a Biology and Human Biology teacher, Leadership teacher, advisor, and Activities Director—which has allowed me to be part of students’ lives in ways that go far beyond the classroom.

EPAA is especially meaningful to me because it has become such an important part of my own life. Over the years, I have grown alongside this community, built relationships with students and families that I deeply value, and shared in so many of the moments—big and small—that make a school feel like home. I love being able to watch students grow, celebrate their successes, support them through challenges, and help create the traditions and experiences they will remember long after graduation. EPAA is not simply the school where I work and then go home; it is a community I feel deeply connected to, believe in, and am incredibly proud to be part of. Go Bulldogs!"
