Sequoia Union High School District makes its school facilities available for rental when they are not in use for school purposes.  The school site reserves the right to cancel any reservation at any time due to internal scheduling needs, but will make every effort to inform the renter in a timely manner via Facilitron.

In partnering with Facilitron, Sequoia Union High School District launched custom facility use sites for the district and each school, allowing facility use requests to be submitted at any time. With Facilitron, reservation requests can be submitted easily and will be handled more efficiently. Renters will be able to access photos and descriptions, see real-time availability, get estimated quotes, and pay online. Although the process of requesting/approval/management of facility use is now digital, the implementation on Facilitron remains the same as dictated by the Sequoia Union High School District's board policies on facility use. Sequoia Union High School District's administrative staff will make final decisions on all facility use requests. 

The only way to request use of a district facility is to create a Facilitron account and submit a request online at: https://www.facilitron.com/epaa94303 all communication should be via Facilitron.

Facilitron will assist with setting up organizations and user accounts, including verification of non-profit status (if applicable). Facilitron will also collect payment and proof of insurance (certificate of insurance) on Sequoia Union High School District's behalf. Payments can be submitted conveniently on Facilitron. Payment options include major credit cards, checks, ACH/eCheck, and PayPal. Proof of insurance (certificate of insurance) can also be conveniently uploaded into the system, and/or it can be obtained directly through Facilitron. A custodian remains on-site for the full duration of every reservation. This is provided to support safety procedures, ensure rapid response in case of emergencies, and comply with updated district liability protocols. Custodial hours are not finalized until the reservation is approved and are non-negotiable.  SUHSD staff do not get special discounts. 

  • Custodial fees begin 30–60 minutes prior to your reservation start time—depending on the number of spaces reserved—and continue through the end of the rental and required cleanup period. All setup and cleanup time must be included in your reservation. Any time beyond the reserved period will be billed accordingly. Event setup services are not provided by staff. Please also indicate if you will be serving food. If food is served or provided, additional custodial charges will apply based on cleanup requirements.

During the normal school year (August - June):

When a renter submits their requested dates, and we verify availability, the reservation is then approved. At that time, the dates are confirmed, added to our calendar, and a custodian is assigned. If changes are needed, please request them through Facilitron at least one week prior to the event. No modifications can be made when requested within the same week of the reservation, and all associated fees will still apply. Since a custodian has been scheduled to attend if a rental cancellation is necessary, the school must be notified immediately via Facilitron. Cancellation must be made 30 days in advance of the scheduled use; otherwise, the user will be held liable for all charges. Please note that we do not modify or cancel reservations during school breaks or holidays.

During the summer (July):

Due to staff vacation schedules, Facilitron will not be monitored during July. If you expect any changes to your reservation, please notify us by June 15. During July, we will not accept, modify, or cancel reservations. If you need to cancel for a day in July, you must notify us at least 30 days in advance, or the user will be held liable for all charges. 

“At the beginning of each new school year in August, new reservation requests will be accepted starting in mid-September, once our school calendar and athletic events have been entered into Facilitron.”
