The College and Career Center is a space where students can learn about post-secondary options, such as four-year colleges and universities, community colleges, and career/tech educational programs. Students have the opportunity to do extensive research on 4-year or 2-year colleges, majors, careers, internships and summer enrichment programs, community service, college testing (SAT/ACT), scholarships, and financial aid (FAFSA or Cal. DREAM Act) as well as academic and career goals.
Through school counseling circuits, college and career lesson plans/ projects in advisory, and our robust senior seminar program, our students supported in their journey to choose a post-secondary that meets their values and goals.
NAVIANCE is available to students and parents at East Palo Alto Academy. Naviance is a comprehensive college and career readiness platform that allows the student to self-exploration, career exploration, academic planning, and college preparation as well as goal setting.
Fee Waivers This center will provide fee waivers to take the SAT/ACT exams or for college applications fees to students who are eligible, typically students who are eligible for free or reduced lunch.
